MSB Retreat CentersLongchen Jigme Samten Ling - Crestone, CO Longchen Jigme Samten Ling has been supporting retreat in our sangha since 1995. A dozen retreat cabins, each sponsored by an individual donor, are occupied year-round by both long-term retreatants and an on-going rotation of students in 100-day retreat. Samten Ling is a self-sufficient world, offering retreatants a balanced mix of solitude and support that facilitates their deep engagement with the practices of this path. Our aspiration is that Samten Ling serve as a fertile ground, on which the essence of the Longchen Nyingtik may ripen in many beings, now, and long into the future. Retreats are open only to formal students of the Mangala Shri Bhuti Lineage.
Guna Norling - Salvador de Bahia, Brazil Guna Norling is our retreat house overlooking the ocean in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. Rinpoche teaches an extended public program once a year during the fall. Four stories high, Guna Norling can accommodate retreatants on three of its levels, each floor with its own kitchen and bath. This retreat house provides a place for practitioners who have already completed three to seven years of retreat at Samten Ling under Rinpoche's close guidance to continue their practice in extended six month sessions. |
