Torma Making Groups

Torma Making
Pak is generally made at 4pm and the torma is made between 5 - 8pm.  If you are not able to make torma, please find a substitute and contact contact us to let us know of the change.  If you are not scheduled to make torma, but still would like to help out, please contact us to let us know you are coming so that this can be passed along to the assigned torma makers.

Umdzes
If you are not able to umdze, please find a substitute and contact contact us to let us know of the change.

Tsoks
Download the Tsok Dates for the 2011 Calendar Year. Purchase the Rigpa Tibetan Calendar: 2011- 2012 for details on tsok dates and other important Buddhist dates. Students who have completed the Sangha Ceremony are welcome to attend group tsok practice. Those who have received the Rigdzin Dupa and/or Dechen Gyalmo empowerments are highly encouraged to regularly attend group tsoks. For weekday tsoks, set-up starts at 6pm and tsok start time is approximately 7pm. For Saturday tsoks, set-up is at 1pm and start time is approximately 2pm. For Sunday tsoks, we start some time after sitting and after all the tormas and set-up are complete (start time will vary).

Severe Winter Weather
In the event that there is severe weather at Phuntsok Choling, an email will be sent to the local sangha. If you are not on the list and would like to receive email updates about this, please contact msbsecretary@mangalashribhuti.org. The location of tsok will be announced via email.

The location for Sunday sitting will not be changed due to winter weather.
