Guided Meditations on Relative Bodhicitta
"My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness."
-- The Dalai Lama
Kindness and compassion are qualities that form the foundation of any genuine spiritual path. The guided meditations contained on this CD give clear instructions on how to nurture these attributes based on the fundamental realization that all beings long to be happy and find freedom from suffering. Whether or not one is Buddhist, the essence of these meditations will serve only to enrich and deepen one's kind heart. Two guided meditations.
Guided Meditations on Relative and Absolute Bodhicitta
Starting with the same material offered in the Guided Meditations on Relative Bodhicitta, above, this CD continues with additional teachings on absolute bodhicitta for those who have an interest in teachings on emptiness. Five additional guided meditations introduce contemplations on egolessness of self and phenomena.

2007 Essential Buddhist Topics - 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva
In this commentary on the text by Gyalse Nuptso Toknye, Rinpoche emphasizes
developing a positive mental attitude and being accepting of what arises in
our minds. Our self judgments and the conflicts they create within ourselves
are a cause of immense suffering. Rinpoche encourages us to soften the edges
of our minds and not be so sharp, so cutting:
"When looking at our minds, we should be like a gardener looking at a garden.
There are weeds there, but they are not seen as some sort of bad thing. There
is a lot of work to be done, but it's all in the attitude of beautifying."
Four talks on a single MP3 CD. Pema Osel Do Ngak Choling in Vershire, VT
2006 Wisdom that Penetrates Modern
Culture
In these teachings Rinpoche describes
developing non-violent mind as a way to "further one's own inner
disarmament of aggression" -- not by suppressing one's feelings but
rather by cultivating the wisdom of interdependent origination. Through
increasing one's clarity that all things in the world exist due to
causes and conditions, Rinpoche explains how to develop patience and
tolerance -- both for those around us and for ourselves. Three
talks on a single MP3 CD.
2006 How to Progress on the Spiritual
Path in Modern Times
In this program, Rinpoche gives accessible
teachings on a profound topic -- the nature of absolute and relative
bodhicitta. Emphasizing absolute bodhicitta, he discusses how the whole
universe and our our consciousness are essentially an optical illusion;
when closely examined, there is nothing in our objective or subjective
world with substantial nature. Rinpoche also provides teachings on
death and a discussion of his personal experience with art as a
spiritual path. Five
talks on a single MP3 CD.
2006 Essential Buddhist Topics - The Four

2006 Riwo Sangcho Retreat
In October 2006 Rinpoche held the first Riwo Sangcho retreat
at Pema Osel Do Ngak Choling. He gave two talks during the retreat -- a
commentary on the text, and a long talk on the subject of Lenchak.
These talks and a sample practice session are included on this MP3 CD,
to aid in learning the melody. The long talk on Lenchak is included in the "Lenchak" compilation, sold above. NOTE:
These recordings are open to the public, though only those who
have received Riwo Sangcho initiation from Rinpoche should do the
practice.
